Hey Guys! We're back to normal at BCESP.
Now that things are going back to normal again, it is time to thank our Mayor for understanding the scholars’ plight in the aftermath of Typhoon Ondoy and for declaring a moratorium covering all college scholars for the 2nd semester of the current school year. This is the reason why the scholars who would have been otherwise disqualified were able to renew their scholarship this semester.
However, starting November 15, 2009, the grade prerequisite of 2.25 and the ranking and point systems are again in place. Therefore I admonish you all to study even harder and to comply earnestly with the program requirements in order to preclude problems in the renewal of your scholarship grant next semester.
On the part of the BCE Scholarship Committee, we decided the postpone our project this December because we understand that the scholars have a lot of catching up and making up to do in their school work. However, we would like to continue with our “Valentines Treat ng mga Scholars kay Lolo at Lola” in February next year like we have been doing these past two (2) years. Likewise, we hope to start a regular feeding project for streetchildren and indigents in conjunction with the Lingap sa Barangay next year too.
As a result of the postponement of the Christmas project, the huge BCE Scholars Christmas tree at the Pasig City Hall lobby will be missed this Christmas season. In lieu, the BCE Scholars will have a Valentines project to be launched in January 2010 in time for the 2nd General Assembly on February 2010.
Cheers and abundant blessings to you all.
Sincerely,
Tita ester yamson

Back to Normal Announcements
We are thankful to the Hon. Mayor Bobby C. Eusebio for approving our recommendation for a moratorium on the renewal and acceptance of new applicants for college scholarship this 2nd semester. Indeed many of the scholars got lower grades in the 1st semester so much so that their scholarship would not have been renewed by BCESP were it not for the understanding and compassion of our Mayor on the scholars' plight.
We are back to normal BCESP operation with the start of the 2nd semester. That means the Point System is again operational. The 2nd bloodletting is on Dec. 17, 2009 at the Pasig City Hall, 4th floor. Submission of grades for renewal is extended to November 16.
Buckle down to work and get the grades that will ensure the renewal of your grant next semester.
God bless us all.
