VARIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. The Points and Ranking Systems used in the final selection of all BCE scholars were temporarily suspended as requirements for the renewal of scholarship grants for all college scholars this 2nd semester by virtue of the moratorium approved by the Honorable Mayor Robert C. Eusebio in consideration of the calamity brought about by Typhoon Ondoy on the people of Pasig City.

Effective this 2nd semester, the Points and Ranking Systems are hereby restored and will apply in the renewal of grants next school year.

2. There will be no Christmas Party this year. In its place, we shall have a Bloodletting Project named “Give A Gift Of Life This Christmas” tentatively scheduled on December 19, 2009. All scholars are hereby enjoined to participate in this project. Please encourage your parents, classmates and friends to join us in this worthy undertaking to help save lives.

By December 19, it will be 3 months since the 1st bloodletting held on September 15, 2009. By this time, it will be okay for the successful donors to give again.

An extra 20 points will be given to all successful blood donors. Unsuccessful donors (those who tried but were rejected due to failure to meet the requirements for donors) will get 10 points credit.

3. Quality Education for Barrio Schools Foundation (QEBS) operating in Boloc in San Pablo City needs help in the form of textbooks for elementary school pupils. We are conducting a book drive for QEBS and welcome donations of used 2nd hand / used textbooks for the elementary level.
